Sayulita is know for surfing, long board or short board and now SUP surfing.  The south end of the beach is a perfect place to for beginners. While the north break offers experienced surfers a great wave.  There are many companies here who rent boards and offer lessons. A few of my favorite picks are:

Wildmex surfing-They offer everything you need, lessons, rentals and trips to other surf spots. They run a very professional business and I highly recommend them.

Patricia’s Surf School-This is one of my favorites. lLocated on the beach by Captain Pablos restaurant. Patricia the owner is an inspiration for all wanna be surfers…she started surfing in her forties! They also offer fishing and snorkeling trips.

**there are many other  surfing lessons offered on the beach. My suggestion would be to talk to them, pick one that you like and go have fun!

Chica Locca-60 foot trimaran that offers snorkeling and whale watching trips to the Marietta Islands.  **highly recommend this tour**, professionally operated, great food, staff and overall experience.  Their office is on the corner of calle Delfin and the plaza, just below Calypso restaurant.

Sayulita Entourage-offers a many different  excursions, including diving, diving certification, whale watching, snorkeling and fishing trips.

Michaparrita-information is located on the beach in a small building just to the left of the main beach and along the road that runs parallel to the beach. You can also hire a boat for fishing in the same building.
