Places to Eat in Sayulita

Mangia Fuoco
Great Italian food including homemade pastas and wood fired pizza. Try the Camarones Guajillo with fettuccini. They are located just down from Rollies on Revolution.

This restaurant is an institution in Sayulita. Open for Breakfast and dinner. At night, they offer Paella.

Tropical House
Located just down the road from Villa Casa Terramar. Daily specials, great atmosphere and friendly staff.  Be sure to say hello to Michele the owner.

La Terrazola-Beach front
Just 1 block south of Tropical House off of Calle Palmar Great Margaritas, fish and shrimp. Wonderful sauces accompany their dishes. Try the chipolte cream.

Il Viziento
Also on Calle Palmar…go past the turn for La Terrazola and this great Italian restaurant is located on the next block. Not only does the Chef/Owner Luca, make fresh pasta nightly but you can dine sitting on swings and watch him do his magic or grab a table in the garden. This is a must visit Sayulita restaurant.

Margarita’s and Chiles
Feliz Chile Rellenos and a little margarita bar have joined forces. Great, inventive margaritas and the best chili rellenos around. Cute, outdoor garden setting and located only 2 blocks from Villa Casa Terramar.

Tacos on the Street
On Revolution, about 3-4 blocks down from Villa Casa Terramar on the right side of the street.  They have incredible Carne Asada tacos. Bring your own beer if you like.

Tierre Viva
It is a very quaint outdoor restaurant a block off the beach on calle Marlin. They usually have a good selection of wines. The menu includes traditional dishes (mole) and seafood. Say hello to Yahi the owner.

Is located on Palmar just down the street from Tropical House. This street runs parallel to the ocean.

Rosticeria La Pechugas
Just around the corner on Revolution from Villa Casa Terramar. This is Mexican style take out. Rotisserie chicken, with potatoes, rice, tortillas and salsa. Very good.

Off the main square…

Sayulita Café
Close to the main square. They are famous for Chili Renos.

Choco Banana
Huge meeting place, just off the square. Great breakfast, smoothies and coffee.

Located across the street from the square, also has good breakfast and coffee.

Miro Vino
Italian inspired menu, good wine selection and nice atmosphere. Luca is the host and owner.

Los Afortunados
Great atmosphere, located just around the corner from the main square. Hand made margaritas and mojitos. Creative menu with nightly specials.

Upstairs across the street from the square. Large menu with nightly specials. Be ready for large portions as well. They have really yummy mashed potatoes.

Don Pedros
On the beach….upscale dining at the end of Calle Marlin.

Lucio Lounge
 Calle Jose Mariscal next to Hotel Hafa. Great place for a glass of wine and tapas.

Don Chow
Asian influenced cuisine. Nice outdoor patio and great food. Try the shrimp pad thai or their sushi. Say hello to Doug and Ruby!

Street Eats…Taco Stands
There are many great road side stands in Sayulita. They have a tendency to change, move locations etc. If you are interested in dining Sayulita style, just ask and I can give you the top picks of the moment.
